More and more I feel called to connect people, and create safe communities around my favorite subjects: reading, writing, creativity, and spirituality. I have both participated in and led Artist’s Way groups, and each time it changed my life. The first time I did the course, I got the courage to apply to MFA programs, and I now have a poetry degree from the UNC Wilmington. My poems have appeared in journals including: The Iowa Review, The Southeast Review, Prairie Schooner and The Southern Review. These days, I also write long-form fiction. Most of my income is earned as a freelance graphic designer. An Atlanta native, I have lived and worked in all time zones and on both coasts as a waitress, florist, dog walker, museum administrator, and arts reporter (to name just a few). I enjoy gardening and live in Grant Park with my chef, I mean husband, girls, and extroverted cats.

I am available for individual consultation on creative projects. Read testimonials about working with me.

Please contact me if interested.

Why should we all use our creative power…? Because there is nothing that makes people so generous, joyful, lively, bold, and compassionate, so indifferent to fighting and the accumulation of objects and money.
